10 things about BD Quest Club

Here are 10 things competitors need to know…

1. There are 3 test levels to compete in, Intro, Prelim & Novice.

2. Existing BD members & horses can compete at these levels as long as they are eligible for the Bronze section.

3. There are 2 age categories, Under18 and Open

4. Teams are made up of a minimum of three or four riders with each rider competing in one of the three test levels they are allowed with the best three scores counting towards the overall team total. The highest overall percentage wins the day.

5. Riders can also take part in the MyQuest tests on the same competition day.

5. All riders must become a BD Quest member (£30) and all horses to be BD registered (FREE). To register now Go to http://www.britishdressage.co.uk/competitions/team_quest

6. Team Names must also register with a nominated Team Captain (FREE) – same web page! 3 team members must take part in any competition day.

7. A team may have some reserve riders registered up to a max of 7 AND an unlimited number of horses!!

8. Teams may have riders drop out and be replaced

9. A horse may be ridden TWICE for the same team by different team members on the same day, but a rider may not ride twice for the team.

10. A rider may be in two teams but must ride in different levels of Team Quest tests on any competition day. Riders may also take part in the MyQuest classes that day.
