Ast Signs and Beech House Holidays team up to support Cumbria Horse Trials

Ast Signs Ltd at Penrith and Beech House Holidays near Carlisle are together sponsoring the cross country Steeplechase and Feeder fences of the upcoming Cumbria Horse Trials’ British Eventing affiliated horse trials, providing much-needed support for six events which will take place at Frenchfield Park and Warwick Hall throughout this year.  Each event will offer the ultimate test of horse and rider, the equestrian equivalent of the triathlon – combining the three disciplines of dressage, show jumping and cross country – and will be of great interest to riders and spectactors alike.  Lucinda Weymouth, who organises Cumbria Horse Trials, is delighted at the support. She said:  “It is wonderful to have two great Cumbrian companies on board and their help is greatly valued.  Their sponsorship and that of all our other sponsors means that we can continue to hold these popular events in the county and help support local riders.”

Mark Aston, Managing Director of Ast Signs said: “It’s great to support Cumbria Horse Trials in providing Cumbrian riders with a platform to compete.”  Anna Aston, who is married to Mark and owner of Beech House Holidays said:  “We are really proud to be sponsors. I’m a keen rider myself, as are my children so it’s good to play a part in creating a fantastic BE series for Cumbrian riders.”

The first British Eventing affiliated horse trials takes place at Frenchfield Park on the 29th and 30th of April and a car pass costs just £10.  To find out more please visit
