In the next few weeks the BE 2020 fixtures list will be published showing the complete range of venues, classes and qualifying competitions at BE Affiliated events across the country.
Cumbria Horse Trials will of course be featuring at the heart of the grassroots and U18 programme and we will once again focus on the highest level of delivery for BE Members.
Starting in early May and running through until mid-September the Cumbria Series will offer competitors some of the country’s best going, cross country and show jumping courses. Our Frenchfield and Warwick Hall venues are in great shape and have been made ready for next year.
Through our Affiliation Agreement with British Eventing we will also offer the highest standards of design, safety, judging and trained personnel. As multiple event organisers we contribute to the success of the governing body both financially and operationally and work alongside neighbouring events to give a balanced line up of fixtures in the Northern & Scottish BE region and special thanks go to Frances Hay Smith, Regional Coordinator and Ruth Mosedale, Regional Development Officer for their continuing support.
By maintaining a distinctive set of events with a fabulous set of volunteers, judges and professional services we hope to once again feature strongly in competitiors’ diaries of events.
Along side our BE programme we will also be affiliated to British Dressage encouraging grassroots competitors to enjoy the very relaxed BD Quest competitions and there will be 5 qualifying rounds commencing in mid May.
There will also be opportunities to develop competitors cross country riding techniques and fitness levels at Frenchfield and Warwick Hall with many of these led by BE Coaches throughout the year.
