Introduction:
A swift move from Frenchfield to Warwick Hall for the first of 3 fixtures at this lovely venue sees Spring finally arrive and the grass beginning to green up. The weather plays its part greatly in all that we do and for this set up it has once again been simultaneously delightful and challenging. Thank you to Nick and Val Marriner for allowing us to gallop over their parkland at Warwick Hall and to Brian and Diane Hogg the farming tennants for their cooperation whilst the set up for the event was underway. We also welcome back the officials, volunteers and supporters of the sport albeit once again under Covid restrictions and running the event behind closed doors. The most significant change for this running of the event comes from a rule change allowing the Novice course to extend to 3120m and the recommended maximum efforts for the BE80 and BE 90 classes capped at 23 efforts. We trust everyone will enjoy the event albeit under some restrictions. Our next event is at Warwick Hall (2) on 19/20 June.
