Santa Rita wines to continue their sponsorship of the Cumbria Horse Trials Series

UK. Chilean wine brand Santa Rita have confirmed they are to continue their sponsorship of the Cumbria Horse Trials Series for a second year.

The sponsorship will see Santa Rita 120 wines provided as prizes to the top placed competitors in the BE100 sections at each of the events, with Frenchfield (1), the first event of the season due to run next weekend. Branding on cross country fences and a Santa Rita BE100 leader board with a case of wine for the most successful horse and rider at the end of the season completes the sponsorship.

The seven event Series runs from April through to September is affiliated to and run under British Eventing Rules. Horse Trials or eventing as the sport is known is seen as the ultimate test for horse and rider. Three phases make up a competition run over one day. Dressage, show- jumping and cross country, combine discipline, skill, agility, speed and endurance. Competitors need to master all three with cross-country seen as the most challenging.
