A W Jenkinson Forest Products Warwick Hall (1) 222/23 May.
A longer Novice track awaits competitors for this weekend’s first of three fixtures at Warwick Hall for 2021. With BE rules now allowing Novice courses to run up to 3120m with 28 efforts, the Novices will enjoy the sandy parkland running alongside the River Eden to the maximum. The BE100, 90 & 80 tracks will also all run to near maximum length and maximum jumping efforts. At the BE Official inspection on Tuesday morning, the courses were passed with a slight easing of the degree of technical challenge for the BE80 course. Although a short hail storm hampered progress on Monday afternoon, final dressing works recommenced soon after. There are 27 sections timetabled for this event generously supported by AW Jenkinson Forest Products for the Novice classes, Blackdyke Farm for the BE100 & Showjumping Arena, Ruth Clark Equestrian BE90 and, Maiden Marine for the BE80. Our Doctors have been kindly supported with 4X4 vehicles by Ullswater Road Garage, Penrith, which is a superb partnership helping to keep them mobile and safe. We look forward to seeing everyone competing along with their owners and support crews. Both Grossick Photography and An Eventful Life Videography will be attending to capture the action. Course plans and fence imagery will become available by Thurday evening on www.crosscountryapp.com. This specific fixture will run ‘behind closed doors’ and is not open to the public. Thank you.
